I don't think it makes any sense to have it in pkgsrc, and doing so could make it more difficult to use (as now you may have to explicitly exclude your host pkgsrc prefix from sandbox directories). One of the main design goals is that it is completely independent from pkgsrc and doesn't require e.g. a completely separate /usr/pbulk prefix.
That said, while I can't stop anyone from doing so, I would ask that if someone really wants to package it, that you wait until it's out of beta. I only started this thread to get input from active users so that the first official version doesn't have to be significantly re-worked to suit a particular use-case that I hadn't considered in the design.
