Hi,

I had a bit of spare time over the holidays so tried installing 10.1 on my Challenge S with R4400/200 processor. Older releases sometimes required kernel patches due to slight differences between the Indy and Challenge S hardware but I'm pleased to report that 10.1 worked first time. Once installed, I downloaded the source sets and built a kernel with the R5000 cache patch that was posted here last month. I then moved the disk into my other Challenge S, this one with a R5000/180, and that also worked with the patched kernel.
