The meaning is to have a testbed for Larry's Perl 6 instead of the
common rakudo compiler.
Both are Perl Foundation software.
So, yes it's a kind of fork.
I tried finding some of this information upstream, but other than a
Sourceforge project page with no description, there was only a tarball.
TBH, I do not have much time to work on it, so bear with me.
